About this award

Kin Canada gives $1,000 bursaries to community-minded students with financial need who are graduating from high school or already in post-secondary. Applicants choose a sponsoring Kin club on the online form, and each club endorses one applicant for national review; no North Bay club appears on the form, so local students would pick a nearby club such as Parry Sound or Sudbury. In a recent year, about 800 students applied and 97 received a bursary.
