Faculty-specific Achievement Award for averages just below the cut-off: $1,000 (Humanities 90% to 93.99%, Social Sciences 91% to 93.99%) or $500 (Health Sciences 93% to 97.99%, Nursing and Midwifery 91% to 92.99%). A student gets one or the other. DeGroote Business also lists automatic faculty awards for domestic high school students of $1,500 (90% to 91.99%) and $2,000 (92% or higher), and Wilson College lists an automatic $1,500 entrance scholarship for students entering Leadership and Civic Studies I.

McMaster automatically gives entrance scholarships to students admitted from high school, based on their final admission average. The main award is $3,000 in most faculties ($1,000 in Health Sciences, Nursing and Midwifery) for students at or above their faculty's cut-off, which ranges from 90% to 98%. Some faculties give a smaller $500 or $1,000 award for averages just below the cut-off. No application is needed, and the offer is confirmed once final grades arrive.
