About this award
Nipissing University's Chancellor's Award goes to two incoming students each year who have at least an 85% average, show personal leadership, and have financial need. It pays $10,000 in first year and can renew at $3,000 a year for three more years. Students apply through Nipissing's single Entrance Award Application with a school reference and a community reference.
Who can apply
- Entering full-time study from high school in the Faculty of Arts and Science or the Faculty of Education and Professional Studies
- Minimum 85% average
- Evidence of personal leadership, such as excellence in fine arts, writing, debating, science activities, or community or family contributions
- Demonstrated financial need
- Ontario resident as defined by OSAP
- Cannot also hold a President's, Schulich, FIRST Robotics or Carl Sanders scholarship or an NU Entrance Award

- Short answers on volunteering, skills and leadership
