About this award
An Ontario grant for young people in or formerly in the care of a Children's Aid Society that pays above the normal full-time OSAP limits. Some students are considered automatically when they apply for OSAP; others need to contact their school's financial aid office. There is no separate deadline.
Who can apply
- Age 18 to 26 at the start of study and in or formerly in the care of an Ontario Children's Aid Society (extended society care, customary care agreement, protection custody order, or Voluntary Youth Services Agreement)
- Or age 23 to 26, left care and received Ready Set Go financial support
- Youth formerly in care who were adopted on or after August 1, 2013 may also be eligible
