About this award
OSSTF/FEESO's Federation Family Education Fund gives bursaries to children of active members who are working toward a first degree, diploma, certificate or apprenticeship. Winners are picked by lottery, and OSSTF gives ten awards of $3,000 each year. Students can apply once they have applied to a publicly funded college, university or college-linked apprenticeship program.
Who can apply
- Dependent child, stepchild or ward of a currently Active OSSTF/FEESO member in good standing in the year of application (includes a member who died that year)
- Has applied to or is attending a publicly funded college or university program, or an apprenticeship with a college academic portion
- Working toward a first degree, diploma, certificate or apprenticeship
- Can only receive the fund once; one application per student per year
