About this award
North Bay's Voyageur Aviation pays full tuition for selected Nipissing and Parry Sound District graduates in Canadore's aviation programs for aircraft maintenance, avionics and aircraft structural repair. Recipients also get mentorship, summer work in the two-year programs and a guaranteed job offer after graduation. Applicants need a Canadore acceptance letter and go through short answers and an interview, and Indigenous applicants receive preference.
Who can apply
- Graduated from a Nipissing or Parry Sound District secondary school
- Accepted into one of these Canadore aviation programs at the Aviation Campus: Aircraft Structural Repair Technician (1 year), Avionics Technician Aircraft Maintenance (2 years) or Aviation Technician Aircraft Maintenance (2 years)
- Preference for Indigenous applicants
