About this award
York automatically offers a renewable entrance scholarship to Canadian high school applicants with an admission average of 80% or higher. The yearly amount is $1,000, $1,500, $2,000 or $3,500 depending on the average, worth $4,000 to $14,000 over four years. Offers are often made early from mid-year marks and confirmed with final grades. To keep it, students need a minimum 8.0 grade point average over at least 24 credits each year.
